UOW Malaysia, formerly KDU, was rebranded in 2019 after being acquired by UOW Global Enterprises. UOW Malaysia combines globally recognized University of Wollongong teaching with modern Malaysian campuses and industry-focused programs. It offers Foundation to Postgraduate studies in fields like business, communication, creative arts, computing, game development, engineering, hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, and nursing. UOW provides a wide range of academic programs designed to cater to various levels of education and expertise. These programs are categorized into four main levels:

• Undergraduate : Designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills in their chosen fields.
• Postgraduate : Advanced programs for deeper specialization and research-oriented learning.
• Diploma : Foundational programs offering practical knowledge and skills.
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) : Research-intensive programs for scholars aiming to contribute to knowledge in their fields.

These programs are distributed across various academic departments, ensuring diverse and comprehensive educational opportunities that includes business, communication, creative arts, computing, game development, engineering, hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, nursing, health sciences, law, and languages. In addition to its academic offerings, they also offer English Language & Improvement / Enhancement courses for international and local students including short courses, holiday programmes, and intensive English programmes.

For admission to UOW Malaysia, students need a minimum of 5 credits in SPM or IGCSE including English and Mathematics for Foundation or Pre-University programmes. Entry into a Diploma requires at least 3 credits in SPM with a pass in English and Mathematics. For Bachelor’s Degrees and Masters, the requirements include STPM with CGPA. While PhD candidates must hold a Master’s degree. International students must meet equivalent academic and English proficiency standards.
