For those needing to enhance their language skills, the university provides an Intensive English Programme (IEP) designed to prepare students for academic success in an English-medium environment.

Admission requirements at Nilai University vary by program and applicant background. Generally, foundation programs require completion of secondary education with at least 5 credits, including passes in Mathematics and English. Diploma programs typically require a minimum of 3 credits in relevant subjects. Bachelor’s degree programs often necessitate qualifications such as STPM with minimum 2Cs, A-Levels with a CGPA of 2.00, or equivalent. International students must demonstrate English proficiency through tests like IELTS or TOEFL.
