Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), established in 1997, is one of Malaysia’s first private universities. After UNITAR’s ownership moved from KUB to Yayasan PINTAR (the Tun Abdul Razak family foundation), its identity was changed to UNITAR in 2007. Now wholly owned by Yayasan Pelaburan Bumiputra, which also owns PNB and PUNB, UNITAR is recognized for its strong industry collaborations and innovative initiatives.
